OVERVIEW: Provides a 24 hour information and referral to link individuals to health and human services programs.SERVICES:1) INFORMATION & REFERRAL: Provides statewide, 24-hour information and referral to a wide variety of health and human services. Services primarily are provided over the telephone. Using a telephone interpreter service, can assist callers in 150 languages.2) EITC HOTLINE: Screens for eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credit. Provides information on free tax preparation sites for seniors and persons with low-incomes.3) TEXT MESSAGING ALERTS: Provides the 2-1-1 Outbound Text Messaging Pilot program. Individuals can opt-in by texting 211infohub to the number 51555.  Individuals will receive at least 2 alerts a month on various topics.
